It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Francis Palmer Hill, III. John's journey began on February 17, 1984, in Nashville, TN, where he was born and later passed away on February 26, 2024.

Preceded in death by his grandfather John Hill, Sr. 

John is survived by his loving wife, Kayla Hill; children, Willow Hill (6), Sam Hill (4); father John "Jack" (Sally) Hill, Jr.; aunt Mary (Ben) Ribble; mother in law Kim (Shayne) England; sister in law Vanessa (Jacob) McDougal; brother in law Jeremy (Chloe) Murphy; loving nieces and nephews as well as many friends and loved ones.

Throughout his career, John worked as an EMT at various services including Hickman County, Cheatham County, and Williamson County. His passion for helping those in need shone brightly as he also served on the life flight ground crew. John's commitment to his work was truly admirable, and his impact on the lives he touched will never be forgotten.

Beyond his professional endeavors, John found joy in simple pleasures. Woodworking, golfing, and spending time with his pets - 3 dogs and 2 cats - brought him happiness. However, above all else, his children were his pride and joy. 

The visitation will take place on Thursday, February 29th from 10:30am ~ 1:30pm with a Celebration of Life at 1:30pm and the burial to immediately follow all at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home 9090 Highway 100 Nashville, TN 37221

In this time of grief, we remember John for his kind heart, unwavering dedication to his family and community, and the lasting impact he made during his time with us. Though he may no longer be physically present, his spirit will forever live on in those whose lives he touched.
