John Taylor LaBrec died prematurely October 2, 2013. He was the loving son of James and Lisha LaBrec. He is survived by his sister, Ashley Preston and his grandmother; Nelly Barnes, Uncles; Mark Preston and Bryan Preston, and aunt; Allison (Rob) Abbott. He survived by a large family of LaBrecs consisting of brothers; James Jr., (Mary) Kevin (Debbie), David (Christy) and sisters Michelle (William) and Caroline, his Uncle Robert (Kathy) and Grandmother Esther LaBrec. He is also survived by his godparents Vernon and Barbara Stinson. JT was a freshman at Franklin High School thriving in academics while also participating on the wrestling and swim teams , a leader in the ROTC program and an active member of BSA Troop 137. JT was a lover of Jesus Christ and a member of the Grace Chapel Church. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 7, 2013 from 4pm- 8pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, Nashville. A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Grace Chapel on 3279 Southall Rd Franklin, TN 37064. In Lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Bridgemont Camp, TN in loving memory of JT.
