Mr. John "Johnny" E. Shadowens of Adams, TN passed away at the age of 54 at Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville, TN on February 14, 2018. Johhny was born on April 21, 1963, in Nashville, to Salma Jean Tuttle Baggett and Herbert E. Shadowens Jr.
He is survived by his mother, Jean Baggett(Jim); his step-mother, Marie Shadowens; his sisters, Pamela J. Green(Scott) and Jennifer Denton; one brother, Tony E. Shadowens(Penny); and a host of nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a half-brother, Phillip Shadowens and A half-sister, Sherry "Renae" Shadowens.
Johhny is preceded in death by his father; Herbert E. Shadowens Jr. and his brother, Terry Shadowens.
He is described as a man who was excited about life, he loved every day. He enjoyed fishing and had a passion for cars. Family dinners were his favorite, whether it be for the holidays or just a night out. Most importantly he loved his family especially his nieces and nephews.
A Life Celebration will be held on Monday, February 19, 2018 in the chapel of Harpeth Hills Funeral Home at 2:30pm. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 2:00pm-8:00pm and again on Monday, February 19, 2018 from 10:00am until the time of service. Burial will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
