John William Vaughn, II "Billy"- Age 65, Born February 28, 1949 and passed away July 6, 2014. Preceded in death by parents, Jesse D. Vaughn, Sr. and Ruby Burklow Vaughn; brother, David Vaughn; wife, Sue Stults Vaughn. Survived by son, Craig Stults; god-daughter, Britt Hickman; sisters, Joyce Hardiman, Roselyn Moss, Sharon Stone and Carmen Adkisson; brothers, Dalton, Wayne, Randall, Wesley and Douglas Vaughn. A graduate from Howard High School. He was inducted into the Army on December 14, 1967 and served in Korea in the DMZ Zone. He earned the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (Korea), Marksmanship Badge (45), Sharp Shooter Badge (81 mm) and the Marksmaship Badge (Rifle). He was honorably discharged in December of 1969. He was a former Medical Supply business owner.
