Johnny "JW" Williams Adams, Sr., age 86 of Ashland City, TN went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 7, 2016.

JW was born in Sumner Co. TN on May 4, 1930, son to the late Alvie & Ruby Adams.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Wilma Adams.

Survivors include his children, Johnny (Karen) Adams, Claude (Pam) Adams, Debra (Bob) Ray, Susan Egan & Robert (Lisa) Adams; siblings, Tiny, Cristina & Jean; 6 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home where a celebration of JW's life will be conducted at 3:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Alive Hospice or to a charity of your choice in loving memory of Johnny William Adams, Sr.
