Johnny M. Tipps III, age 64 of Nashville, TN passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on December 20, 2014.

Mr. Tipps was born in Waverly, TN on July 21, 1950 to the late John & Sarah Tipps.

He was the owner and founder of CSS Alarms, the president of the Tennessee Burglar & Fire Alarm Association, a member of Nashville Alarm Dealers Association as well as a hunter education instructor for TWRA.
He was preceded in death by his parents & brother, Ronnie Tipps.

Survivors include his loving wife of 20 years, Paula Tipps; daughter, Jamie (Justin) Kraus; grandson, Miles Kraus, sister, Glenda (Eddie) Tyler, & several nieces & nephews. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather & friend.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 21, 2014 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home where a celebration of Johnny's life will be conducted on Monday, December 22 at 2:00 pm with an hour visitation prior to service.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior's Project, in loving memory of Johnny M. Tipps III.
