Joseph L. Sheeran- Age 81, of Fairview, passed away October 16, 2019.
Joseph L. Sheeran, otherwise known as Papa Joe, was a beloved brother, husband, father-figure, and grandfather. He served in the military and traveled the world. He let us experience his life through his great stories. Papa Joe had many hobbies including carpentry, fishing, and having fish fries for family and friends. He was the go to person for problems and for when anyone needed help. Joseph was an incredible man, and was loved by so many.
Survived by his loving wife Geneva R. Sheeran, children Nathan Dawson (Melissa), Regina Jackson (Bruce), Rex Dawson (Patty), Nelson Dawson (Tonya) and Lisa Dawson (Garri Hall), grandchildren Abby Lewis (Matt), Drew Dawson, Lindsay Dawson and Jack Dawson, great-grandchildren Bram and Vivi Lewis, sisters Laurine O'Neal (David) and Athleen Wiles (Richard), brother Jerry Sheeran (Patsy).
