Joyce Marie Hamilton was born on October 3, 1955, to Emmitt Brannon and Sylvia Ragsdale in Columbia, Tennessee. She passed away peacefully on Friday, May 17, 2024.
Joyce is preceded in death by her parents listed above, stepfather Jack Sharpe, brother Michael Brannon and son Daniel Prentice Jr.
Joyce is survived by her loving husband Normon Hamilton; sister Debra (Lonnie) Stewart; grandchildren Andrew Prentice, Savannah Prentice, Rachel Prentice, Gabriel Prentice, Corbin White, Sophie Prentice, and Chandler Soles; great-grandchild Eli Prentice-Wix; nieces Sandra Richardson, Stephanie Richardson, Katelyn Richardson; and nephews James Nelson and Noah Richardson.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024, from 9:00am to 11:30am at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home in Nashville, Tennessee. The funeral service will begin at 11:30am with burial to follow.
