Judith Elaine Tyler age 75, of Nashville TN, passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021 at St. Thomas Hospital.
Judy was preceded in death by her brothers; Samuel Neely, Milton Neely II, and Buddy Neely.
She is survived by her loving husband, Horris Dean Tyler to whom she was married on December 23, 1977; sisters, Betty May, Anna Lee; brother, Larry Thomas; step-children, Rick Tyler (Vicki) and Teresa Lubow (Dennis); 6 grandchildren, Jeremy Tyler (Kim), Justin Tyler (Jenny), Jerin Tyler, Billy Mullinax (Cassie), James Mullinax (Sarah), Mary Buchman (Matt); 9 great-grandchildren, Alexia Tyler, Annelise Tyler, John Heath, Taylor Mullinax, Zach Mullinax, Tucker Mullinax, Adaleigh Mullinax, Evie Buchman, Lydia Buchman; and great-niece, LeAnna Batson.
Judy was born in Celina, Tennessee, on May 3, 1946, the daughter of the late Milton Haskell Neely and Mable Williams Neely. She was a faithful servant and member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Nashville where she served many years in the youth ministry and prison ministry. She worked at the Upper Room Methodist Publishing for 31 years. Judy loved God and ordered her steps after the things of God.
Visitation will be Monday, May 17, 2021, 6-8PM and a second visitation will be Tuesday, May 18, 2021, 10AM, and continue until the hour of the service at 11AM. Both visitations and service will be held at First United Pentecostal Church, with Bro. Ron Becton officiating. Burial will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Those serving as pallbearers are Jeremy Tyler, Justin Tyler, Jerin Tyler, Billy Mullinax, James Mullinax, Jonathan Neely, honorary pallbearers; Tucker Mullinax and Zach Mullinax.
