Family and wonderful friends meant the world to Judy. She loved parties and large gatherings. Her favorite holidays were Thanksgiving and Christmas, mostly because she knew these two holidays would bring family time. She will forever be remembered for her ability to make the best tasting cornbread dressing. Christmas Eve was when the family would gather at her house to celebrate. She was always so excited on this day. She cherished the true meaning of Christmas; However, she was also drawn to the beautiful decorations and packages that Christmas brings.
She loved the sunshine and hanging out in and around the pool. Some of her fondest memories were made in Destin and Panama City Beach FL. She loved a good road trip. These trips were usually taken with friends and family.
She will also be remembered as a creature of habit. She would get stuck on something and would seem to not let go for a while. The folks at QVC, Dunkin Donuts, and Hallmark miniature shoe collection would agree by saying "yes, we know Judy, and this is true".
Judy asked that her death not be a sad occasion, but a celebration of her life. She wanted us to remember who she was and how she loved. Her family finds great comfort in knowing Judy was a child of God and was welcomed into Heaven immediately upon her passing. A peaceful feeling washes over them when they envision her with a renewed body and spirit and, a family reunion like we could never experience on Earth.
Pallbearers will be Jim Hutcherson, CK Hampton, Will Hutcherson, John Hatcher, Dylan Brom and Jacob Hargrove. Dennis Brom will serve as an Honorary Pallbearer.
