Julia Ford Muscari of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away at her residence on Friday, May 24, 2019; she was 63 years old.
Julia was a remarkable woman; a member of Mensa, she had an incredible mind, an exceptional intellect and an insightful ability to resolve all manner of challenges. She loved developing unique opportunities for others and was relied upon by friends and colleagues alike. Growing up in Nashville, she attended public school, graduated from Hillsboro High School and Vanderbilt University.
Julia loved choir, was passionate about photography, enjoyed the creativity of crafting and scrapbooking, handmade cards, journaling and writing. She loved giving people special things she made; the more personal the better. She had so much empathy for others, especially a heart for the unborn. She so enjoyed sharing special holidays with her husband, family and friends.
Julia recently retired after 25 years as Director of Marketing Support for EWTN, The Eternal Word Television Network, the international cable operation that offers around-the-clock Catholic-themed programming.
Julia is survived by her husband of almost 30 years, Michael, her brother Tommy Ford (Suzanne), nephews Thomas Ford (Jennifer), Lee Ford (Anna) and Andrew Ford (Tabitha), 4 great nieces and 1 great nephew.
A graveside service will be Thursday, May 30, 2019, 3:00 pm at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville, TN 37221.
A Celebration of Life to honor Julia will take place on her 64th birthday at 3:30pm on June 11, 2019 at The Chapel at the Birmingham Grants Mill location of Church of the Highlands.
