Katherine Halliburton - Age 97, of Nashville, passed away August 1, 2017 at home.
Ms. Halliburton was a strong, smart, beautiful and loving woman. It was stated that she had never met a stranger. She enjoyed keeping up with the news both local and worldwide. She worked for many years in the hospitality industry where she truly shined with her outgoing personality. She was known by many and loved by all. She enjoyed reading, playing guitar in her younger years, cooking every Sunday and holidays, shopping and taking yearly trips. She was a great woman that touched many lives.
Preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Edward Halliburton, Sr.; parents, Josie Allman Clark and Edgar Clark; grandson, Steven Dortch; granddaughter, Tracy Mellette; brother, Freeman Clark. Survived by her adoring daughters, Soula Dortch; Barbara Mellette, Judy Beck (David) & Karen Caldwell (Daryl); loving sons, Edward Halliburton, Jr. (Glenda), James Halliburton; Richard Halliburton (Cheryl) & Jeffrey Halliburton; grandchildren, Sheila Stockdale, Kimberly Perry, Susan Shelton, Tommy Mellette, Glenn Halliburton, Jason Halliburton, Kari Beck, Tony Beck, Tim Beck, Caitilin Halliburton, Ally Halliburton & Amanda Caldwell; 12 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren; beloved cat, Max; numerous extended family and friends.
