KIBER, Katherine "Katie" – Age 90 of Gallatin passed away peacefully November 15, 2012 at home. Mrs. Kiber was a springy woman that was always on the go. She was a classy, kind hearted, generous woman that was known for her Hugs. She loved Cracker Barrel, collecting jewelry, find a word puzzles and her family. Mrs. Kiber was a retiree of Texas Boot in Hartsville after 17 years of service. She was a good Christian woman that will be truly missed by all that knew her. Preceded in death by her husband, George H. Kiber, Jr.; parents, Mitchell Brown Underwood & Lula Boone Underwood; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Counce Kiber; son-in-law, Mike Norman; loving Poodle companion, Lucy. Survived by her loving children, Pat "Patsy" Norman, Mickey Kiber & Kathy Harris Rickey; grandchildren, Randy Kirk Darlene, Mitzi Reed Jim, Scot Kiber, Troy Kiber, Mark Harris Fiancée, Kat Meirik; great-grandchildren, Terence Kirk Kristen & James "J. T." Reed; great-great-grandchildren, Addyson Kirk & Haylee Kirk; special friend, Debbie Pruitt Richard; many extended family members and friends. The family would like to express a special thank you to Janice Putty, Michelle Adcock, Leigh Ann Thompson and all of Highpoint Hospice for the love and care given to Mrs. Kiber during her time of need. A Life Celebration will be held 1pm Monday at Crestview Funeral Home with burial to follow at Crestview Memory Gardens. Active pallbeares will be Thomas Randy Kirk, Scot Kiber, Troy Kiber, Mark Harris, Terence Kirk & J.T. Reed.
