Kathleen Bess

Kathleen Luana Bess, age 71, passed away on May 25,2022 in Temple, TX with her loving family by her side.

Kathleen was born on October 13, 1950 in Detroit, Michigan. She was raised by her mother Velma Francis Upchurch and Clarence V. Upchurch. Kathy was a very loving, giving, and caring person. She loved to watch crime TV shows, go camping on the weekends, shop, cook for her family, holidays and most of all she loved her grandkids and great-grandkids more than anything in the world. She was a Christian and had a very strong relationship with the lord.

Kathleen is preceded in death by her son Timothy Anderson, husband Melvin Bess, mother Velma Upchurch, father Clarence Upchurch, and brother Thomas Scranlin.

Survivors include her sister, Debbie Upchurch, Children daughter Tabatha Pritchett, son Donald Anderson Jr.,  daughter Leila Jenks, son Chris Collier and Jaime Collier, Grandchildren Kersten and Cole Ammerman, Steven and Allie Spann, Summer Prichett, Autumn Pritchett, Mikayla Trout, Emily Anderson, Ryan Anderson, Carlee Anderson, Jordynne Anderson, Kensley Anderson, Jaime Anderson, Matthew Hill, Andrew Jenks, Hayleigh Draper, Madison Cervantes, Hayden Collier, Brooklyn Collier and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and loved ones.

Visitation with Family will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2022 from 3:00 pm until 7:00pm and on Monday, June 13, 2022 from 10:30am until Chapel Service 11:30am all held at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home 9090 Hwy 100 Nashville, TN 37221.
