Kenneth Paul Brumit, born January 24, 1954 of Pegram Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman Brumit Sr. and Ethel Trunary Brumit; a daughter, Christy Lynn Brumit; siblings, Betty Brumit, Herman Brumit, Dot Brown, Don Brumit, Leon Brumit, Tommy Brumit, Jack Brumit, and Jimmy Brumit.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife EKaterina; son, Ashlee Paul Brumit (Julie) and daughter Kendale "Baby Girl" Brumit (Darryl); siblings, Charlie Brumit, Helen Eaves, June Hedge, Bobby Brumit, and a grandson Ashton Brumit.

Mr. Brumit was a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corp and then entered into a career in law enforcement for 34 years before retiring. He was a Master Mason and a Scottish Rite Mason.

He was a man of great integrity who was loved and cherished by not only his family, but by the many people he connected with throughout the years of serving his community. Kenneth was a great fisherman and hunter, two skills he learned at the age of 5 and mastered in his lifetime. He dutifully and eagerly shared his survival knowledge and life experience with his children and grandchildren. Hardworking and warmhearted, Kenneth will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

Visitation for Kenneth Brumit will take place at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 21 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and again on Wednesday, May 22 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm with a Celebration of Life at 2:00 pm officiated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints of Green Hills, Tennessee.
