Kent James Burnes of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away at Erlanger Medical Center on Sunday, September 30, 2018; he was 61 years old. He was an amazing man that lived life to the fullest. He was a kind and generous man, whose smile and laugh were infectious. He was a very loving son, brother, uncle, husband and father.

Mr. Burnes is survived by his wife, Nanci Zavala; children, Liban and Sofy Zavala; parents, James Robert (J.R.) Burnes and Peggy Davis Burnes; sister, Sheri Reno (Tim); niece, Chelsea DeVar (Jamison); nephew, Joseph Woods (Kelly); and fur baby Gizmo.
Visitation will be Friday, October 5, 12:00 - 1:00 with a Celebration of Life beginning at 1:00; all at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home.
