Kimberly Dale Riley passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015 at the age of 54 in Nashville, TN. She was preceded in death by her mother Leonette Riley. She is survived by her father William Noel Riley, Jr., her step-mother Ruth Riley, and her sister Noel Riley-Philpo and brother-in-law Scott Philpo.
Kim was born in Knoxville, TN on December 27, 1960. She was raised in Lewisburg, TN until 1977, and she continued to maintain many lifelong friendships there. In 1979 she graduated from John Overton High School in Nashville, TN. Upon graduation she enlisted in the U.S. Navy where she honorably served her country for four years. She later had a successful career in customer service for many years. Kim was an avid animal-lover, and a loyal and generous friend. Her quick wit and vibrant personality will be missed by all who knew her.
The family will receive friends on Sunday January 25 from 4-5 pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, where a celebration of Kim's life will be conducted at 5pm.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the charity of your preference be made in Kim's memory.
