Kristi Hargrove

Kristi Lynn (Wilson) Hargrove ran into the arms of Jesus on March 9th, 2025. Born on February 26th, 1966, she was a radiant light to all that knew and loved her. She held several incredible titles throughout her beautiful 59 years of life: daughter, wife, mother, Nonna, sister, cousin, aunt, and devoted friend.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Sherry Lynn Hardcastle, and father, Tommy Layne Wilson.

Kristi loved spending time with her husband, Keith. They found comfort in each other’s company. She adored being a mother to her two girls, Meghan and Emily; both considered her their hero. She was the epitome of a selfless mother, but her favorite title of all was Nonna. She prayed for a chunky baby boy and God has given her two and another on the way.

She dedicated 25 years of her career to Vanderbilt in the department of pathology. She was a dedicated, hardworking, skilled employee who was loved by co-workers and faculty alike. Her personality and demeanor were a trait everyone admired.

Kristi was so strong, even when life’s hardest trails occurred. She attributed her strength to God alone and her faith only grew deeper in the hills and valleys.

She looked forward to laugh fests with the Charlotte Park crew, outings with her Vanderbilt family, cabin trips with dear friends, and walking arm in arm with Bethany and Lori in every season of life.

Kristi is survived by her loving husband Keith, her cherished daughters Meghan (Terry) Muse and Emily (Ross) Pepper, her littlest loves (grandchildren), Parker Muse, Samuel Pepper, and Baby Boy Muse #2; Her brothers, William (Aimee) McCurdy and Michael Wilson; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins that adored her.

Her legacy of love and devotion will forever live on in the hearts of all those she touched.

A visitation will be held at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 10:30am until the time of service. The funeral service will be in the chapel beginning at 1:30pm with burial to follow.
