Laquita "Joy" Sneed of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully with family at her side on Tuesday, February 18, 2020. She was 87 years old.

Survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Bobby Sneed, Laquita "Joy" is also survived by her children Terry Feathers, Kim Caudell (Paul), Todd Sneed (Mary), Jeff Sneed; siblings Channing Duvall, Boyce Duvall (Barbara), Patsy Allen (Tony); several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Laquita "Joy" was a faithful member of the Bellevue United Methodist Church for more than thirty years.

Visitation for Laquita "Joy" will begin Thursday, February 20, from 3:00pm - 7:00pm and Friday, Feb. 21 at 10:30am. Services officiated by Pastor Brian Marcoulier will begin at 11:30am on Friday Feb. 21, all at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers include Chandler Sneed, Griffin Allen, Gus Allen, John Sneed, Bob Sneed, William Sneed, and Paul Caudell.

Laquita "Joy" Sneed devoted much of her adult life to her professional duties for over 30 years at the American Cancer Society.
