Lee Douglas Peterson- Departed this life peacefully in his home on the morning of November 28, 2015. Born in Rockford, Illinois on November 12, 1953 to Virginia and the late Arthur Peterson, Lee's family later moved to Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, where he graduated from high school. He attended college in Whitewater, Wisconsin. He was the founder and owner of Builders Window Supply and has served the window and door needs of contractors, remodelers, and homeowners for 32 years, many of whom he calls friends. Lee enjoyed golf and fishing throughout his years, and was a lifelong cheesehead Green Bay Packer fan, having attended the Ice Bowl in 1967 at Lambeau Field. He was witty and kind, a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, and a dependable friend, who will be missed by many.
Lee is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Peterson. He is survived by his mother, Virginia Peterson; his devoted wife of 33 years, Dana; his sons, Marshall (Caitlyn) and Stewart; daughter, Ginger; grandchildren, Maddi Rae and Quinn; brother, Kim (Bonnie); sisters, Corky Berson (Chuck), Pam Flynn (Tim), and Betsy Peterson; and nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alive Hospice. A visitation will be 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 and Thursday, 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville, (615) 646-9292 www.harpethhills.com
