Taylor, Leo A., 88, June 15, 1925 -December 10, 2013. Preceded in death by his wife Geneva of 54 years, and his son Jerry Taylor. He is survived by his daughter-in-law Linda Taylor, his grandchildren Travis Taylor (Donna) and Sheila Green (Barry Bates). Great-grandchildren Josh Green, Jesse Taylor, Ashlee Taylor, Hunter Taylor, Zebe Green, Miley Green, and Leo Bates.
A veteran of World War II, he was awarded a bronze star for bravery in the Battle of the Bulge. He retired as owner and operator of Ed's Liquor Store in 1982. He was an avid flea market vendor, where he loved to haggle and trade. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family. A life celebration service will be at 2pm on Friday, December 13, 2013 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with Travis Taylor officiating. Interment to follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
