Lewis "Papalew" Elliott Stubbs, Sr.- Age 60, Nashville, January 25, 2014. Preceded in death by his father, Walter H. Stubbs, Sr.; grandparents, Clarence and Emma Bauguss. Survived by his wife of 41 years, Margaret Stubbs; children, Lewis Stubbs, Jr. and Ashley G. Stubbs; grandchildren, Violet, Lucy and Charley Stubbs, Jake and Rachel Andrews; mother, Jean Stubbs, sisters, May Bell (Jim), Nancy Hessler (Don) and Stephanie Teasley (Jack); brother, Walter H. Stubbs, Jr. (Devery); aunt, Nancy McClendon; sister-in-law, Brenda Helton (Ray); many nieces and nephews. A life celebration service will be at 1:30 pm on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Autism Society of Middle TN.
