Ms. Lila May Rozelle Blackburn of Fairview, born September 7, 1929, passed from this life on February 4, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary Rozelle of Chapel Hill, her husband Shirley F. Blackburn and a son, Charles Blackburn. She is survived by 6 children, Shirley Ann Galya of Dickson (Bobby), Bob Holder of La Follette (Karen), Gerald Blackburn of Millington (Arlene), Lisa Proctor of Fairview (Eddie), Ann Jones of Hohenwald (Rick), and Jeannie Sharp of Nashville (Cayley); daughter-in-law, Frances Blackburn of Dickson. Additionally, she is survived by twelve grandchildren, Terri Baker, Katherine McKenzie, Robert Freeman, Jr., Robert Holder, Jr., Courtney Holder, Kristin H. Ellis, Leslie Turner, Brian Turner, Benji Jones, Jonathon Jones, Rachel Stevens, &; Phoebe Sharp; fifteen great-grandchildren, Lane Baker, Rilee Ann Baker, Ethan Baker, Willow Grace Baker, Josiah Baker, Kasidi Baker, Aidan McKenzie, Graeme McKenzie, Brett Freeman, Emily Freeman, Orin Jones, Conway Jones, Riley Jones, Matthew Jones and Everett Stevens and several nieces and nephews.

Lila retired from First American Bank after 32 years of service. After retirement she enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, and helping with church activities. She was a charter member of First Baptist Church of Fairview which has been her church home since 1964.

A Life Celebration will be held 1:00pm Wednesday, February 8th with pastors Alton Wilson and Dr. Bill Sherman of First Baptist Church officiating. Pallbearers are Robert Holder, Jr., Benji Jones, Jonathan Jones, Robert Freeman, Jr., Brian Turner & Josiah Baker.
