Cohn High class of 1968. She graduated from Aquinas College Nursing Program and was employed by St. Thomas Hospital as an RN for Nineteen years. Survived by husband of 44 years, Bill "Popeye" Bruce; children, David Liz Bruce of Larchmont, NY.; Steven Sue Bruce of Chicago, IL,; grandchildren, Henry, William, Ellie, Walker, and Carter; sisters, Beth Longshore and Karen Mike Noble. She is also survived by five nephews. The Life Celebration service will be on Thursday, October 18, 2012, at 11am, at the West Harpeth Funeral Home with Reverend Matt Baldwin officiating. Interment will be at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Nephews and friend will serve as pallbearers.Visitation is Wednesday from 4-8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to the Alive Hospice.
