Lisa Marie Niedbalski Lachs was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 5, 1972.
She grew up in Toledo, where her family had lived for many years. Lisa attended Notre Dame Academy and graduated in 1990.
Lisa and her family relocated to Jackson, Tennessee for her father's work in 1990. She attended college at the University of Toledo and graduated from Bethel College.
Lisa moved to Nashville in 2002. She became a treasured employee of Bone McAllester Norton for over ten years as the Director of Operations. During that time, Lisa was actively involved in planning office events, including volunteer efforts with charitable organizations.
In May of 2008, Lisa married James Lachs of Nashville. Lisa and James enjoyed travel and time with friends and family. They especially loved their rescued dogs. Lola, a pit bull rescue, was Lisa's constant companion during the last few years of her life.
Lisa had a warm presence and a kind heart. She was beautiful and her smile lit up a room. She took joy in spending time with those who were close to her, including her dear niece and nephew. Lisa loved Christmas and made great efforts to find the perfect presents for friends and family. She took great pleasure in seeing the joy they brought to their recipients.
Lisa passed away on December 15, 2016. She was survived by her husband, James, of Nashville, her parents Roxanne and Tom Niedbalski of Jackson, Tennessee and her sister, Angela Niedbalski, also of Jackson, and Addison and Aidan, her niece and nephew. She will be remembered as a deeply caring person who added beauty, joy and kindness to the world. There is a great void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her when they think of living in the world without this sweet soul and shining light.
