Liz Ann Hammack, age 87, of Franklin, TN went to be with her heavenly father Thursday, January 17, 2019. She was born May 17, 1931 in Lebanon, TN to the late Irvin and Clatie Morgan. Liz is also preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Hammack; sister, Freida Sims and brother, Charles Morgan.

Liz is survived by her daughter, Karen Pitts and spouse Earl; son, Craig Hammack and spouse Suzy; granddaughter, Madison Hammack; grandson, Josh Smith and spouse Rebecca; great grandson, Tyler Smith; great granddaughter, Brylee Smith; great granddaughter Rylan Smith; and brother, Thomas Irvin Morgan.

Liz helped her husband run their business and later became an internal auditor for several hotels. She loved working so much that she worked until she was in her 70's. Liz enjoyed watching sports and was especially fond of her dogs.

The family will receive friends Monday, January 21st from 12:30 - 2:30 p.m. A life celebration service will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the garden of Chapel Hill of Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
