Lloyd Anderson Linton- Age 95, Franklin, July 19, 2015. Survived by his wife of 68 years, Frances Edmondson Linton; daughter, Mary Little (Ben); grandsons, Andrew Little and Brittain Little (Shelley); great-grandchildren, Tess, Hudson and Ben Little. Mr. Linton attended David Lipscomb University where he met his wife. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII for four years. He enjoyed farming all his life and served as an Elder at South Harpeth Church of Christ for 30 years.
A Celebration of Life Service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with Andy Connelly officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the men of South Harpeth Church of Christ: Al Jones, Don McPherson, Dr. John Dixon, Jay Harrison, Bobby Smith, William Edmondson, Steve Lee, Jim Gilliland, Everett Sears.
Pallbearers will be John David Lane, Steve Sears, Fulton Greer, Billy Edmondson, Bruce Carter and Kenny Carothers.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort.
