Lorene C. Linton

Lorene C. Linton, a beloved resident of Nashville, TN, passed away on August 22, 2023, at the age of 94. Lorene's life was filled with remarkable moments and cherished memories that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Bruce Linton, son Jimmy Linton, sister Ada Story, brother Junior Curfman and parents Forest and Myrtle Curfman.

Lorene's legacy lives on through her surviving family members. Her son, William Linton, carries forward the values instilled in him by his extraordinary mother. Lorene was also adored by her niece, Beverly Curfman, and sister-in-law, Jean Curfman. Additionally, she leaves behind numerous cousins and cherished loved ones who were touched by her presence.

Lorene had an insatiable curiosity and an engaging mind. Exploration was another passion that brought joy to Lorene's life. She embarked on long drives along scenic routes, discovering hidden gems in small towns along the way. The thrill of uncovering local treasures filled her with delight as she appreciated the beauty found within each community. Puzzles became another favorite pastime for Lorene. She embraced their tantalizing challenges and relished in their ability to sharpen her mind.

Lorene was known for her warm and welcoming nature. Her friends were precious to her, and she cherished every opportunity to spend time with them. Gathering around a dinner table sparked lively conversations filled with laughter and heartfelt stories.
