Loyd F. Umstead, age 66 of New Johnsonville, TN went home to be with the Lord on May 14, 2015.

Loyd was born on September 27, 1948 to Wayne & Robbie Umstead.

Survivors include his loving wife of 32 years. Patricia Umstead; daughters, Becky (Joesph) Wray & Terri Ray; grandchildren, Richard Ray II, Jeremy Sanders & Dusty Wray; great grandchildren, Richard Ray III & Dorothy Sanders; brother, Gerald Umstead; sisters, Vickie Alsup, Pam Wilson & Kim Flowers; and multiple nieces & nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 17, 2015 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home where a celebration of Loyd's life will be conducted on Monday, May 18, 2015 at 1:00 pm with an hour visitation prior to service.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Wounded Warrior Project in loving memory of Loyd F. Umstead.
