Lynn Norvell

Lynn Harlan Norvell age 64, of Fairview, TN passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023. Lynn was born in Williamson County on December 19, 1958 to the late James (Jim) and Maxine (Anderson) Norvell.

Survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Linda Norvell; children, Brittany (Kevin) Finn and Dalton (Carrie) Norvell; grandchildren, Harper and Connor Finn; brother, Mark (Jean) Norvell; sister, Frances (Norman) Nolen. Many sweet and precious nieces and nephews.

Lynn worked as a pipeline welder for over 30 years and everyone in that profession knew he was the best pipefitter around the Nashville area. Lynn was also an active Mason Member for 28 years with the Fairview Masonic Lodge #776.

He was an avid fisherman with his son Dalton. He coached softball for the Fairview Rec Center for many years leading his daughter Brittany’s Diamond Team to the District 3 Championship in 1999.

Lynn was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He adored his two grandchildren. Lynn loved the homeplace that he and Linda have built together, making that his hobby to keep the place in immaculate condition, all the while, making time for his favorite hobby…fishing.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 22, 2023 from 3:00pm ~ 7:00pm with the Masonic service at 6:00pm and Monday, January 23, 2023 from 9:30am ~ 11:30am all at The Pavilion at Harpeth Hills 9090 Highway 100 Nashville, TN 37221. The burial will immediately follow at Pinkerton Cemetery Fairview, TN 37062.
