Mabel Doran Wood of Nashville TN passed away on May 23, 2020 at the age of 85. Mabel was a loving wife, mother, devout Catholic, and life-long educator who will be deeply missed. Born in New Orleans in 1935, she married J. Kenneth Wood Jr in 1957 and later moved to Nashville where she was a teacher at St Henry Catholic School for over 25 years. She is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth, and is survived her sister Millie Thomas, brother Joe Doran, her 7 children, 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grand children. A funeral Mass will be held at St Henry Catholic Church, 6401 Harding Road, Nashville, TN on Friday May 29, 2020 at 11 AM. All in attendance will be required to wear a face covering.
