Margaret (Maggi) Platt Bowden - Age 63, died August 28, 2014 from ovarian cancer. Preceded in death by her father, Karl B. Platt. A loving and devoted wife and daughter, spectacular sister and aunt, faithful friend, Maggi is survived by her husband of 35 years, Lynn Bowden; mother, Martha B. Platt; sister, Susan Platt Lewis (Mark); nephews and niece, Matthew, Kevin and Scott Lewis, Josh, Ryan and Dustin Bowden, Jami Johnson, Jimmy and Jeremy Hood; sister-in-law, Barbara Hood; brother-in-law, Bill Bowden (Lisa). The Comptroller in the Office of the Chapter 13 Trustee, Maggi was an avid bridge player, volunteer and staunch supporter of the arts. Her passion for the theater included acting, directing and producing for Circle Players as well as Act One and other theater groups. A celebration of life service will be at 11 am on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
