Maria Matthews of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away at her residence on Thursday, December 19, 2019; she was 76 years old.
Preceded in death by her grandson, Michael Smiley, Maria is survived by her husband of 58 years, Walter Matthews; daughter, Debbie (Eric) Vanatta; daughter Malinda (Ron) Sircy; daughter, Melissa (Paul) Owen; grandchildren, Josh (Krystal) Vanatta, Brittany Smiley, Amanda Stinnett, Jason (Lindsey) Vanatta, Alison (Rick) Forehand, Shelby Sircy, and Gabby Espinoza; great grandchildren, Maddux, Braxton, Mila, Leland, and Maren; and fur baby Tot Tot (the cat).
Visitation will be Sunday, December 22, 2:00 - 7:00 p.m., and again Monday from 10:30 thru 11:30, with a Celebration of Life beginning at 11:30; all at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville, TN 37221.
