Marian Jenkins- Age 96. April 21, 2017.
Marian moved on to her heavenly home on Friday, April 21. She was an amazing lady who accomplished great things during her lifetime. She grew up during the Depression, worked at the Pentagon during WWII, was an award winning seamstress, a world traveler, dear friend to many, and above all, our mom, "Nanaw"/"Grandmother". Marian reflected her Christian faith in all she did. Her love for God was foremost followed by her love for her family and her First Lutheran Church family.
Preceded in death by her husband, Jack Jenkins. She is survived by her son, Tim Jenkins (Lynn); grandchildren, Nicole Cole (Justin), Keith Jenkins (Sarah), Lee Luna, Kyle Jenkins and Aaron Jenkins; great-grandchildren, Luke and Drake Cole, Hunter Luna, Adelaide and Annabelle Jenkins. Special nieces and nephews, Janet Dawkins, Mike Hutchison, Terry (Debbie) Hontz, Carole Hontz.
The family would like to acknowledge their appreciation to the staff at The Lodge at Natchez Trace for providing excellent care to Marian.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. on Friday, May 5, 2017 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 6 at First Lutheran Church, 113 8th Ave. South, Nashville. Inurnment will follow at Jenkins Family Cemetery.
