Marianne was born and raised in Chicago, IL where she attended St. Henry School and Nicholas Senn High School. Tennessee became her home in 1982 and in her final days she lived with her husband Ralph on a beautiful farm in Bon Aqua, TN, enjoying nature everyday. She loved horses, horseback riding, gardening and feeding her birds. Most of all she loved playing the card game Rummy, with her brother John, who shared a deep bond with her. She loved her husband, her family, and her friends dearly. She was a loving aunt and great-aunt to many. She loved to laugh and make others laugh.
Marianne was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Mary Hamilton, brother Gerard Hamilton, and sister-in-law Cheryl Hamilton.
She is survived by her husband Ralph Langston of Bon Aqua, TN; sister: Karen (Ed) Coyne of Park Ridge,IL; brother: Michael Hamilton of Tacoma, Washington; sister: Patti (John) Szarnych of Evanston, IL; brother: John Hamilton of Franklin, TN; sister: Laura (Mike) Bliss of Burns, TN; sister-in-law: Sara Hammers of Kingston Springs, TN; sister: Katie Hamilton of Dickson, TN; and sister: Bridget (Brent) Mason of Nashville, TN.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on July 27, 2024 at the Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens Pavilion, located at 9090 Highway 100, Nashville, TN 37221.
Visitation will be from 10 am - noon, and celebration from 12- 2 pm.
