Marie Craft

Marie Kimber Craft, age 77, passed away on May 30th, 2021.  She is preceded in death by her husband Lyall Craft, parents Nellie Greer Kimber and Walter Russell Kimber.

She was born on August 28th, 1943 in Tacoma, Washington.  Marie went to Isaac Litton High School.  She had a love for flowers, dogs, playing games, and collectibles.  She also enjoyed fishing and Alabama football.  She loved being "Nana" to her granddaughters and great grandsons.  Marie and Lyall enjoyed hosting huge Easter egg hunts and large fall cookouts at their home in Sparta.  Marie was famous for her lasagna, potato salad, and coconut cake.  She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by sons; Terry (Teresa) and Jeff (Cindy), granddaughters; Hillary (Jordan) Johnson, Allison (Matt) Childress, and Emily (Marc) Caldwell, great grandsons; Peyton and Baker Johnson, sister Sandra (Kevin) Mosley, and brother Don (Sandra) Kimber.  She also leaves behind a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins.
