Marty "The Kingfish" Gaddes died peacefully on November 12, 2016; He was 57 years old.

Marty loved southern food, fishing at Brush Creek, and rambling down River Road in his pristine '84 Grand Marquis on Sundays blasting Shenandoah. He loved music and has been known to play a mean dashboard bass for Boston or Ted Nugent. More recently you could find him bickering with his sweet Aunt Jody in between episodes of Ghost Hunters or the NASCAR race. Marty was a devoted father to his daughter, Amanda, and his favorite times were those spent with family and friends.

Mr. Gaddes is preceded in death by his parents, George and Hattie Wray Gaddes.

Mr. Gaddes is survived by beloved daughter Amanda Rose Warfield (Jason); Siblings Ron Gaddes, Michael Gaddes, Donna Gail Davenport, and Lea Ann Gaddes; Twelve nieces and nephews including Jason Gaddes (Beth) and Carl "Bubba" Gilbert who hold a special place in his life and heart; doting Aunt Jo Ann Wray; Great-niece Ellery who brought such joy to his life; and Cousin Mary Mag Neely (Doug).

A celebration of life will be held at the Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville, 37221 on Saturday at 1:00 PM; Visitation will begin one hour prior. Interment will be at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
