Tribute to Mom.

Mary Elizabeth Andres passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at the age of ninety-three. She was
preceded in death by her parents, William and Gertrude Calcott. Surviving Mary is her loving husband of
seventy-three years, Russell (Cotton), her sister Darlyne Gunderson, and five children, Russell Jr. and his wife Cary, Kris Martin and her husband William, William and his wife Sally, Michael and his wife Connie, and Geoffry. Continuing her legacy are her twelve grandchildren, Ryan, Erin Whitfield and her husband Eric, Alyssa Kennedy and her husband Tully, Michael Martin and his wife Callen, Brandelyn, Jamie, Mary, Nicholas, Monika Goodman and her husband Matthew, William, Madison, and J.R. Also surviving her are her eleven great grandchildren, Waylon, Taylor, Keller, Delaney, Scott, Selma, Ashlyn, Kylie, Olive, Rockwell, and Marigold. Mary lived her life serving the Lord and for her family and friends who she loved dearly and who loved her dearly. Later in life, Mary owned and operated McDonald's restaurants in California with her husband. She was an astute businessperson who always recognized that the key to success was to focus on people...her employees and customers. So many were blessed by her gentle words, a soft touch, a listening heart, and warm embrace. Sweet Mary, the Lord has called you home. We will all miss you.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 20, 2019, 11:30 -12:30, with a Celebration of Life Beginning at 12:30; all at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville, TN 37221. Burial will follow at the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 7931 McCrory Ln, Nashville, TN 37221, at 2:00.
