Mary Evelyn Barber, affectionately known as Evelyn Barber, peacefully passed away on July 8, 2023, in Franklin, TN. She was born on August 1, 1940, in Nashville, TN. Evelyn's journey through life was filled with joy, love, and an unwavering spirit that touched the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Preceded in death by her parents, Thurman and Mattie Smith. Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Pamela Bell, son Charles Hester, and 3 grandchildren.

Evelyn Barber's spirit and zest for life will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. While we mourn her loss, let us also celebrate the extraordinary life that she led, one filled with joy, love, and an unwavering commitment to living every day to the fullest.
