Mary Jean Temple Baucom of Franklin, Tennessee died May 12, 2015 at St. Thomas West Hospital; she was 83 years old.
Mrs. Baucom was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Mr. Ray Baucom; brothers William H. Temple, Jr. and Porter Temple; nephews Bill Temple and Randy Baucom.
Mrs. Baucom is survived by nieces Karen and Lisa Temple, sister-in-law Carolyn Temple Russell, nephew Tommy Ray Baucom (Pam), and numerous cousins, great nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Baucom was a member of Harpeth Heights Baptist Church for 64 years. Her greatest Pride and Joy was to be married to Ray, and her family of cousins, nieces, and nephews. She played the piano at the church for many years; was the director of the food ministry for 25 years; a member of the History Committee; and a very active member of the Church. She retired from Lifeway after many years.
Visitation for Mrs. Baucom will be Friday, May 15, from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home and again Saturday from 9:30 - 10:30 at Harpeth Heights Baptist Church; Funeral services begin at 10:30 a.m.
Honorary Pall Bearers are The Joy Class, Dr. Mack Hannah, Dr. J.M. Galloway, Steve Herndon, Charlie Anderson and Wendell Melvin.
