BOONE, Mary Winnie – Age 94 of Hendersonville passed away January 9, 2013. Mrs. Boone was a loving mother, grandmother & great-grandmother. She was a pillar or the community with her family being here dating back to the late 1700's. She always had a smile on her face and never complained about anything. She enjoyed the outdoors, quilting, knitting, dancing, gardening, canning vegetables and most of all spending time with her family. She was a longtime member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Preceded in death by her husband, W. T. Boone; parents, W. L. & Mary Kirkpatrick. Survived by her loving daughter, Mary Jane Isham Larry; grandson, Thomas Boone Simmons; great-grandson, Jackson Boone Simmons; brothers, Robert Kirkpatrick Rose & Richard Kirkpatrick Sara; sister, Kathleen Gregory L. C.; several nieces, nephews and extended family members. A Mass will be held 11am Friday January 11, 2013 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with burial to follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Family will serve as pallbearers.
