Luella Buttrey, age 81 of Fairview, TN went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 19, 2013.

Mrs. Buttrey was born in Bon Aqua, TN on September 19, 1932 to the late Jim Allen and Lulor Vaughn.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Buttrey, her parents and one brother; Granville Vaughn.

Survivors include her loving children; Paul (Mary) Buttrey, Donna (Tommy) Mathis, grandchildren; Tracy Chester and Corey Mathis, step grandchildren; Kenny Work and Billie Jo Work, brothers; Lester Vaughn, Junior Vaughn and Johnny Vaughn, sisters; Frances Bibee and Sue Herndon, two great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 21, 2013 from 1:00 - 8:00 PM and Sunday, December 22, 2013 from 1:00 - 8:00 PM at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, where a celebration of Luella's life will be conducted on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM with an hour visitation prior to service.
