Mary Denson

Mary Helen Denson, 92, died February 21, 2021 in Nashville, Tennessee. Her funeral service will be held at Spring Hill Cemetery, Mobile, Alabama.
Mary Helen was born on February 9, 1929 in Macon, Georgia and grew up in Columbus, Georgia, the daughter of Irene and Joseph Holy. She married James Robert Denson in Columbus on July 20, 1951. They moved to Mobile, Alabama and raised 2 sons, David and Joe. After Jim's death, Mary Helen moved to Nashville, Tennessee to be with her grandchildren and was blessed to reconnect with and marry her childhood friend, Bob Almond.
She is survived by David and his wife Catherine and their children, Anna and Lee, Nashville, Tennessee, Joe and his wife Jennifer and their children, William and Elizabeth, Mobile, Alabama, as well as Bob's son, Bob and his wife Mary, and their wonderful family, Roanoke, Virginia.
Ever blest, wellspring of the joy of living, Mary Helen is lifted now to the joy divine.
