Mary Elizabeth Graves

Mary Elizabeth Graves, passed away on January 16, 2025, in Nashville, Tennessee. Born on May 12, 1957, in Nashville.

She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Ruth McCloud.

Mary dedicated much of her working life to the laundry services industry as a skilled laundry technician. Her work ethic was second to none; she took great pride in her responsibilities, always going above and beyond to ensure the highest standards of service. 

Beyond her career, Mary found great joy in her faith, attending Harpeth Hills Baptist Church regularly. It was not just a place for worship, but a community that enveloped her with love and support. Her dedication to her church was matched only by her devotion to her family, which remained at the center of her life.

A loving wife of 44 years, Mary shared a beautiful life with her husband Robert Nelson Graves. Mary was a proud mother to her children, Keira Renee (Laura) Graves and Christopher Len Graves. The brightest light in her life, however, was her granddaughter Alyssa Evette Martin. 

Mary’s legacy of love, kindness, and hard work will continue to inspire those she has left behind. As we remember Mary, let us carry forward her spirit of generosity and dedication, ensuring that her light continues to shine brightly in our lives.

Visitation will be Wednesday January 22, 2025 from 3:00pm ~ 7:00pm and Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 9:30am ~ 11:30am with a Celebration of Life at 11:30am and the burial to follow all at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home.
