Mary Ruth Hoover, age 74, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2014 in Jacksonville FL.

She was preceded in death by her husband Eddie Hoover, her parents Dave and Blanche Stinson, and her son-in-law James Greer.

Mary Ruth is survived by her son, David "Barry" (Suzanne) Hoover, and daughter, Sharon Greer, granddaughters, Jill Lewis, Ashley Greer and Alisha (John) Goheen as well as 3 great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Nancy (Hilton) Knox and several nieces and nephews.

A service honoring her life will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 11 am at Centenary United Methodist Church, 6809 Gower Road, Nashville, TN 37209, with Rev. Cherie Parker officiating.
