Mary Nell Sanders of Fairview went to heaven June 29, 2014 at the age of 88.
Nell was born August 4, 1925 in Cullman, AL to Herbert and Onie McGriff. She had five brothers and two sisters.
She was a devoted wife to Joe Excell Sanders for more than 71 years and a loving mother to her only son Tommy, who preceded her in death in 2008.
Mrs. Sanders is survived by her husband; granddaughters Cheryl Bates and Michelle Brinson; great grandchildren Kayla Bates, Noelle Bates and Jadon Brinson; daughter-in-law Frances Sanders; sister Evelyn Case; and brother Charles McGriff.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 1 from 4-8 pm and Wednesday July 2 from 10:00 am to time of funeral service at Noon; all at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home (615) 646-9292.
