Mrs. Mary L. Tidwell, age 64, of Burns, Tennessee, passed away Friday April 27, 2018. She was born in St. Louis City, Missouri on June 1, 1953, to the late Harvey and Doris Lackey.
She was retired from the Baptist Medical Center, where she was as a nurse for over 27 years. Mrs. Tidwell was a longtime active member of Berean Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed landscaping, gardening and loved being around her grandkids and great grandkids. She will best be remembered by all she came in contact with for her loving and caring heart.

Mrs. Tidwell was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Wayne Tidwell Sr., and a granddaughter, Braylee Rae Tidwell. Surviving are her children, Tina Hay, (Donald Hay), David Dodd, and Billy Dodd, Morris Tidwell,( Katy Brecht); grandchildren, David Abel, Billy Dodd, Brook Dodd, Krystal Myers, Jessie Myers, Dylan Myers, Chance Hay, Austin Dodd, and Brennen Tidwell; great-grandchildren, Carter Abel and Analia Steward.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at three o'clock in the afternoon at the Harpeth Hills Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 6, 2018, and Monday May 7, 2018, from Four o'clock in the afternoon until eight o'clock in the evening at the Harpeth Hills Funeral Home.
