Maryanne Sills Davidson, 83, of Nashville, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2016.
Born on March 23, 1933 to the late Nora Seals Sills and Leon Blackford Sills. Maryanne is also preceded in death by husband, Wyly Price Davidson, Jr., son, Blackford Gant Bush and grandson, Jason Brent Davidson.
She is survived by her children, Janet, Brent and Dianne Davidson, her grandsons, Ryan and Conner Davidson, Hugh Wyly Davidson-Oatman, and her great grandson, Music Liam Davidson. Her cousins Michael Davis and Shelley DeWeese also survive.
In addition to being a devoted mother and loyal friend, Maryanne was executive secretary to Mr. Bronson Ingram for 30 years.
The family wishes to thank her longtime friends, Mildred Bowers and Nancy Watson for their love and kindness throughout her life. A special recognition of gratitude to Dr. David Morgan, the dedicated nurses at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center and the gifted doctors, nurses and staff at Alive Hospice who guided us on this final journey.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 28, 2016 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home where a celebration of Maryanne's life will be conducted at 12:00 pm. Rev. Pete Furnier will officiate.
