Mary Ethel West

Mary Ethel West, age 85, from White Bluff, Tennessee passed away on March 29, 2023 in Nashville, Tennessee. Ethel was born on September 1, 1937 to the late Clyde Douglas & Mary Ruth Lee. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband Frank West, brothers, Clyde Lee, Ricky Lee, Jerry Lee, and Ray Lee.

Ethel is survived by her children, Brenda Lewis (Jerry), Norma Cathey (Carmen), grandchildren, Michelle Hughes (Bryan) and Jared Cathey (Jennifer), great grandchildren, Bailey Hughes and Jameson Cathey, sisters, Jenny Hall, Sue Tidwell (Wayne) and numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

Ethel was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a member of Kingston Springs Church of Christ where she enjoyed helping others and giving back to her community. She enjoyed watching hummingbirds and beautiful flowers. Ethel will be missed by all those who knew her.

There will be a visitation Monday April 3, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Tuesday April 4, 2023 from 10:00 am until the Celebration of Life 11:30 am all held at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home 9090 Highway 100 Nashville, TN 37221.
