Mary Jane Zimmermann

Mrs. Mary Jane Theresa Zimmermann age 87, of Nashville, TN. passed away on May 11, 2022, in Dickson, TN.

Mary Jane graduated from St. Ann High School in Scranton, PA. She was a former volunteer for Hospital Ministry for 16 years through St. Ann Church at Centennial Hospital. She also was an employee of the Federal Bureau of Investigations, Philadelphia, PA and former employee of the K-Mart Corporation Nashville, TN. She was an avid reader, gardener, Titans and Notre Dame fan, and enjoyed being with her grandchildren.

Preceded in death by parents George and Mary Kuhn of Scranton, PA, sister, Patricia Mulligan of King of Prussia, PA, husband of 58 years, Anthony Zimmermann, son, George M. Zimmermann of Murfreesboro, TN brother-in-law, William Mulligan of King of Prussia, PA.

Survived by son, Dr. Anthony G. (Amy) Zimmermann of Mason, Ohio, daughter, Catherine Ann (Tim) Simpson of Burns, TN, five grandsons, Anthony, Andrew, Daniel, Alex and Nicholas, brother, Martin G. (Evelyn) Kuhn of Scranton, PA, sister-in-law, Dorothy (Robert) McCann of Philadelphia, PA, daughter-in-law, Jacque Zimmermann of Murfreesboro, TN.

Visitation with the family will begin on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm with a Mass to be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at 10:30 am with burial to follow at Harpeth Hills Cemetery, Nashville, TN. All services will be held at St. Ann Catholic Church, 5101 Charlotte Avenue, Nashville, TN. 37209.
